The Bruther Family
The descendents of Caleb Gudlup Bruther, b. 3 Nov 1832 and d. 31 Dec 1906, and Emily Burgtal, b. 22 Mar 1842 and d. 19 Dec 1922. Caleb and Emily were married and spent their lives in Jefferson County, Indiana amongst the farms that overlook the Ohio River immediately south of the small town of Hanover. While their descendents can be found throughout the United States there is still a large contigency of Bruthers still residing in Hanover.
